What do all these acronyms and weird terms mean?

The telecommunications industry's jargon is filled with acronyms — abbreviations like ATM, VoIP, femtocell, and so on. Likewise, the business world has its own unique jargon — words like capex, abbreviations like 1Q07, etc.

Whenever feasible, our editors strive to translate these terms within the article itself.

If a term is not clearly defined or you wish to know more about it, copying the acronym, word or phrase and pasting it into the search engine of your choice will yield more detailed results.
