IPTV and Carrier Ethernet are two of the hottest topics in telecom, but how well do they work together? Major telcos like AT&T/SBC, Telecom Italia, and France Telecom are committed to rolling out IPTV services mostly over broadband, while others (FastWeb, for example) are delivering IPTV over Carrier Ethernet on fiber all the way to the home. Carrier Ethernet forms the IPTV broadband aggregation network of many Telcos.
